DAY 1
We begun by gathering the products to use to test our experiment. We had to burn different products to test whether they were flammable or not and how long they took to burn. We used hair gels, polishers, sprays, shampoos and other bathroom products. After spending an entire morning testing flammability of the different products we have come to a conclusion that alcohol based products burn better.
DAY2
After successfully testing flammability of the various products, the second day we decided to take our experiment to a further level by testing the PH of the products. By testing the PH we found out how dangerous they could be to our skin, however most of the products had a neutral PH except Veet, which was very alkaline. Once we tested the PH of the products we tested the solubility of the products and this time we found out that gel products we only partially soluble when other mousse and liquids we perfectly soluble.
DAY 3
In the last day of our experiment we tested the products’ conductivity to see if they could carry out electricity. After trying with all the products we saw that only the mouthwash and hair gel conducted a bit of electricity and that all the other products were safe as they didn’t conduct electricity.
